PBS programs were honored with 12 News & Documentary Emmy Awards, more than any other organization, at the 38th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards ceremony at the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall on Thursday, October 5.
WNET’s Nature took home the award for “Outstanding Cinematography: Documentary” for the Season 35 premiere episode Super Hummingbirds. Nature executive producer Fred Kaufman, producer & cinematographer Ann Johnson Prum, cinematographers Andrew Wegst and Mark Carroll were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the team that includes cameramen Nathan Dappen and Neil Lossin.
